- It has been too long since I have done a rally and was slow to get
up to speed. |
|
|
- But we held it together through some nasty conditions ... for the
first few stages there were 3-4 cars off on every stage !! the roads are
narrow and fast, and with the rain they were slippery as well !! |
|
|
- At the end I can't complain, we won our class - for the second year
in a row, with a competitve field !! |

- As you can see not a great finish !! But I got stuck in a snow
bank and lost 30 minutes or so ... there goes the rally ... |
|

- But, I try to take solace from the fact that I was flying for
the first part of the rally. For the first 20 Kms of the first long
stage I had a 20 second lead over Patrick Richard !! That made me
feel better. |
|

- I know that I can run fast, now I just need to slow it down
a little and get a fast and consistent pace... |

- Was running third till Stage 3 then made a
bad tire choice and lost 40 seconds. We put on deep snow tires
when a intermediate would have been better.. |
|

- Won Stage 7 a 46km stage. Back in third position
- Excellent ! |
|
| |
- Had an Off on Stage 8, lost 3 minutes. |
|
| |
- Stage 9, the second pass thru Stage 6, I went
off and got stuck on a snow bank for 90 minutes, the end of
my rally. |
|
| |
- I was happy with my times on
the event and the conditions were excellent, but not happy
with the end result.
